The Ballistic Identification System
This character, or character string has been named the Ballistic Identification Number or, the BIN number. The BIN number will function much like the universally used Vehicle Identification Number or, VIN number.
Practical applications of the Ballistic Identification Number would be the ability to create Ballistic Liability Insurance, the ability to create a method of identifying the purchaser of an individual bullet found at a crime scene, and the possibility of reducing the sixty-five billion dollars in public funds spent every year to pay for the cost of gun violence.
If, during the manufacturing of a bullet, a character, or character string were applied by any permanent method on said bullet, an individual “fingerprint” that can be used to identify that individual bullet against all others has been created.
